What does Vasthu mean ?

Vasthu is the classical Indian science of Architecture and Design. Astrology is he science that deals with Time and Space. Vasthu highlights space though it is connected with time. The shape and location of everything is signified by Vasthu. Shapes and Measurements if not suited to the shape and form of being may do harm. selections of suitable shapes, forms and locations for the benefit of beings is dealt with in this vast science. Just as Jyotisha this also has its origin from the creation of the Universe. This forms part of Astrological Science. For the Universe there is some regularity. The form of Universe is regulated. The motion of the Universe is regulated in form. Even in the inside of an atom there is this some regularity in space, shape and motion. From Atman, the supreme universe emerges in time. The time and space are in Atman the Supreme being. When, What,Where and Why emerges with the universe in time and space. The answer to all these constitutes the universe.

In the beginning Atman alone was. At present Atman alone is. In future Atman alone will be. Purusha is the supreme being. Prakriti is the outcome of purusha connected with time and space. The combination of purusha with prakriti is the nature with the Omni potential shape, form and motion. This traditional knowledge is experienced in everyday life. This is vast and called "Vastu".
